Sheridan has a professional development and feedback system that encourages “growth-mindedness” and maintains high standards of excellence.Teachers have the opportunity to pursue graduate work, attend workshops and conferences and plan “curriculum trips.” There is a formal feedback system that includes goal setting, classroom visits and feedback and formal observations. New faculty are involved in a formal mentor system and are given consistent support to help them successfully navigate their first year.
