Annual Fund & Auction: What to Expect This Year

Fundraising plays an important role in all that we do at Sheridan. Contributions help us balance our budget, support our teachers and students, and expand and advance our program and facilities (yurts!). The gifts made by so many in our community make a daily difference in the education we can offer. 

Each year we ask every Sheridan family to contribute to the Sheridan Annual Fund and to participate in the annual auction. We know a little notice can go a long way so we hope you’ll mark your calendars with the dates below and begin to give some thought to the many ways your support will make a difference. 

2019-2020 Annual Fund

  • Launch Date: 1st week of November
    Financial Goal: $275,000
    Participation Goal: 100% by December 1st

We are thrilled to share that we already have received Annual Fund gifts from EVERY member of the Sheridan Board of Trustees and EVERY member of the faculty and staff. As we prepare to launch our community campaign, we hope you will honor these early commitments by making a donation of your own during the month of November. 

2020 Auction

  • Online Auction: mid-February
    Auction Celebration: Saturday, February 29th, 6pm

You’ll hear much more about our auction and auction celebration in the coming months, including the theme and beneficiary. It will be nearly three decades before Leap Day falls on a Saturday again so it will surely be a night for the ages.
