Every other year, we invite our grandparents and special friends in our community to Sheridan for a half-day so they can see our school in action and spend the morning with their favorite Sheridan student. This year, Grandparents and Special Friends Day will take place on Friday, April 26th.
The school will send invitations in March. To do that, we need you to provide the names, postal addresses, and email addresses of the individuals you would like us to invite by Monday, March 11th. Because we do not want to presume who you would like to attend with your child, we will send invitations ONLY to those individuals whose names have been provided through the form below. This means that even if you have provided grandparent information in TADS, we still need you to complete the form.
Due to space constraints, especially in the younger grades, we ask that you limit your guests to TWO. If that poses a challenge, please contact Wendy Lunde.
If you do not have anyone you would like to attend GPSF Day with your child, don’t worry. We match unaccompanied students with Sheridan faculty and staff members and work hard to make the day special for everyone. (Please note that to keep the emphasis on grandparents and special friends, we do not include parents as participants).
GPSF Day Schedule
- GPSF Day will be held on Friday, April 26th from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Grandparents and special friends will attend approximately 3 classes with their Sheridan student.
- Dismissal takes place at noon for students and guests.
- The Spring Musical takes place Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30pm and we invite GPSF’s to return to take in the performance.
We’re looking forward to a fun event! Please share your names ASAP.
