Last week’s adventures at Mountain Campus continued this week with 1st grade and 7th grade! The first graders explored who lives at Mountain Campus, hunting for bugs, investigating skulls and tracks, and learning about animals native to the area. They played games to explore adaptations and enjoyed some hands-on time with creatures big and small.
The seventh graders spent four days at Mountain Campus. Their trip focused on leadership work, and through many different challenges and adventures, they practiced skills around communication, collaboration, and leadership. They built cardboard boxes to try and float on the pond, participated in a color run, and cleaned up the road near Mountain Campus. They also visited Camp Horizons, where they rode horses, visited with animals at their farm, and supported each other on the high ropes course.
This week, second grade and fourth grade head to Mountain Campus!
