Sheridan challenges students to embrace new experiences and ideas through hands-on, engaging, and authentic learning experiences. Through a variety of cocurricular and extracurricular opportunities, students can expand their personal interests, take leadership roles, and apply concepts and skills in new ways. Programs are offered in athletics, community service, music, art, student organizations, and publications. These programs are included in the cost of tuition; no additional fees are charged.
Child care on school days and camps during vacations provide a variety of opportunities. Sheridan students may participate in school programs from 7:45 a.m. until 6 p.m. on any school day, and special activities are available on teacher workdays when classes are not in session. The CASA summer day camp and the Mountain Campus summer adventure camp offer multi-week experiences for children. Advance registration and fees apply for most of these auxiliary programs.
