Hand-deliver checks, cash or a credit card number to the Front Office at Sheridan.
Stocks, Bonds & Securities
In most cases, an outright gift of appreciated securities entitles the donor to an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities. In the case of securities that have been held for more than one year, the capital gains tax is waived.
To receive instructions for transferring stocks, bonds and securities, please contact Director of Annual Giving and Community Engagement Wendy Lunde or by phone (202.362.7900).

Expand The Impact Of Your Gift
Here are a few ways to expand the impact of your gift to Sheridan:
Double your donation! Many companies will match their employees’ charitable contributions. You can check this list or Google “Matching Gift Database” and enter your employer name to see if your employer has a matching gift program. If it doesn’t, check with your human resources department to see if your company will consider matching your gift.
Give a larger gift by making smaller monthly payments instead of a one-time contribution. These payments can be automatically charged to your credit card. It’s easy to do — just select the recurring gift option here.
After you make your gift, volunteer to be an ambassador for the Annual Fund and reach out to alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, and friends of Sheridan to encourage them to lend their support to our school. Contact Director of Annual Giving & Community Engagement Wendy Lunde if you are able to lend a hand.
By making a charitable gift to Sheridan School, a 501(c)(3) organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable. If you have any questions related to this policy or would like to report a transactional error, please contact the Advancement Office at (202) 362-7900 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
