Prospective faculty and staff should have a related degree, classroom experience, and/or relevant experience with elementary or middle school-aged children. 

Our faculty also works with aspiring teachers to provide on-the-job training. Teacher training at Sheridan affords beginning educators the opportunity to learn and apply specific methods with the support of experienced mentor teachers.

  • Admissions and Advancement Associate

    Sheridan School, an independent K-8 school in Washington, D.C., is seeking an Admissions and Advancement Associate starting in mid-August, 2024. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and the Director of Enrollment Management, the Admissions and Advancement Associate will assist both departments with program and event support, database management, and other general support. Sheridan relies on its relationships with internal and external community members to further its mission, and this role will contribute to the success of these departments and to the school at large.
