Affording Sheridan

Beyond our all-inclusive tuition, we strive to ensure every student who is offered admission to our school has the opportunity to be part of our community and take advantage of what Sheridan has to offer, regardless of family finances.

Financial aid awards at Sheridan are based primarily on demonstrated financial need as determined by a streamlined assessment performed by Clarity, and availability of funds approved annually by the Sheridan Board of Trustees. The complexity of the financial aid formula means we cannot provide analysis or prediction without a full application, but we encourage all families who believe that they may be eligible to apply.

Each family’s need for tuition assistance is recalculated annually. Any Sheridan family may apply for financial aid in any given school year, even if they have never before received financial aid from the school.

Financial aid at Sheridan extends beyond tuition. Families who receive financial aid are offered the same percentage of financial support for after school care in Ex-Club and for the ticket fees for community events such as the annual auction and Mountain Campus Family Weekend. Families who receive financial aid also qualify for a slightly lower rate for enrichment classes such as private music or instrumental lessons, although that amount varies every year.
