Eclipse Day at Sheridan School

We had a great eclipse viewing day at Sheridan today!
With Ms. Martin leading the way and with support from our experiential education and science teams, the whole Sheridan community enjoyed a safe and awesome eclipse afternoon!

Sheridan students started by meeting with their buddies to learn about the eclipse. Younger buddies shared their knowledge, and older buddies used lessons from their recent science classes to teach. We focused on how to view the eclipse safely, and created paper plate viewing guards (aka solar shield glasses) together in preparation for stepping outside to see the eclipse in action.

We had a wonderful time viewing this natural phenomenon with our friends and buddies!
